Bring the classical Australian sounds of the bush to your next event with November Shorn, the Central West’s premier bush band. Many years of performing in country halls, pubs, woolsheds and tents from Bourke to Sydney have established band’s reputation as a “popular and good fun” dance band who continue to be in high demand.
Our music, played on acoustic instruments, is lively and has broad appeal drawing on material from Australia’s rich bush music heritage and the tunes from Europe, England, Ireland and Scotland. The band and our music have appeared on an Australian feature film, reality television and most recently in a documentary for European television audiences on the life of Banjo Patterson. The band’s Live at Nashdale CD gives a good overview to the variety of music we play and is on sale at shows
A major element of many of our shows is bush dancing. Our expert dance callers explain the steps beforehand as well as during the dance. The dances are fun, easy to learn and tailored to suit different age groups, from children to grandparents, to the whole family
The current lineup of the band is:

Geoff Tonkin: Vocals, Accordions, Harmonica, Whistle, Didgeridoo, Lagerphone.
