This weeks Sunday sessions sees the pairing of two of the most enjoyable and left of centre bands Orange has to offer. The Cicada Club invoke the sounds of Prohihibition; washboards, rent parties, kazoos, speakeasies, ragtime, jugbands and jook joints. They have been polishing their show of hokum blues and ragtime jazz into a rare and shining object of joy. Whilst Wild Bill Skewy & The Carrington Event offer an ecclectic mix of progressivce psychedelic voodoo Tex Mex flavoured swamp blues.
